CREATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR ANY BUSINESS
PAY-PER-CLICK
(PPC)
Pay Per Click (PPC) is an advertising
model used on search engines, advertising networks, and
content websites/blogs, where advertisers only pay when a
user actually clicks on an ad to visit the advertiser's
website. Advertisers bid on keywords they predict their
target market will use as search terms when they are looking
for a product or service. When a user types a keyword query
matching the advertiser's keyword list, or views a page with
relevant content, the advertiser's ad may be shown. These
ads are called a "Sponsored link" or "sponsored ads" and
appear next to or above the "natural" or organic results on
search engine results pages, or anywhere a webmaster/blogger
chooses on a content page.
Pay per click ads may also appear on content network
websites. In this case, ad networks such as Google AdSense
and Yahoo! Publisher Network attempt to provide ads that are
relevant to the content of the page where they appear, and
no search function is involved.
SEARCH ENGINE MANAGEMENT (SEM)
Search engine marketing, or SEM, is a form of
Internet marketing that seeks to promote websites by
increasing their visibility in search engine result pages
(SERPs). According to the Search Engine Marketing
Professionals Organization, SEM methods include: search
engine optimization (or SEO), paid placement, and paid
inclusion.
SEARCH
ENGINE OPTIMIZATION ( SEO)
Search Engine Optimization is, as the name implies, the
optimization of a website for the search engines. This
involves making a website search engine “friendly”, using
proper linking techniques to aid the spiders in determining
your site’s relevance and optimizing offsite strategy for
affecting natural placement.
Search engines use what are known as “spiders” which “crawl”
the web collecting information about each website it visits.
Making a website search engine friendly really means making
it friendly for the spiders that crawl your site. This
requires an in-depth understanding of how spiders work,
allowing you to code your webpage in such a way that spiders
don’t get confused about what your webpage is about.
At WebCon Media, our SEO experts are experienced, passionate
“gurus”. They regularly attend search engine shows
nationwide, subscribe to industry publications, and
cultivate relationships with search engine “insiders” to
maintain the solid and current understanding of search
engines and optimization techniques necessary in an ever
changing industry.
LOCAL
ONLINE MARKETINGThe internet
is a big place, and that can be intimidating for businesses
that cater only to a local market. Many local businesses
don’t think there is anything to gain from internet
marketing.
But the truth is that millions of internet searches are
conducted every day by consumers looking for local
businesses. There is still a huge group of people out there
that use the internet for research, but don’t trust it
enough to make a purchase. Those people will be looking for
local solutions to fulfill their needs. Furthermore, as
great as technology is these days, you still can’t get a
cavity filled or try on cosmetic samplers over the internet.
With WebCon Media, local internet marketing is a breeze!
Thanks to our team of local-search experts, we are able to
regionally target your internet advertising so you won’t be
wasting money trying to sell to people in India.
People in your town are searching right now for your
services. Make sure you’re not missing out on the potential
to get their business.
